This surgery is definitely on a whole ‘nother level than my microdiscectomy in 2005. Sheeeeit. Weird sensations all around, and the pain while moving in certain directions is just off the charts. And that’s WITH a full dose of Percoset in me.
I keep reminding myself about the probability of less pain on the other side. As Jon says, “I’m glad you had the surgery, but this sucks.”
Side note: I am having a nasty allergic reaction to something or another. I’ve just gotten off the Percoset and anti-nausea meds and am going back to tramadol, since I did just fine on that prior to the surgery. I’ll report back on the results.
