Pink Full Moon Pull for April

I did a bit more elaborate work this full moon, but still did a tarot pull

Two tarot cards on lavender purple cloth. The one on the left is the Two of Swords, and is represented on the card as two crossed swords over a hawk wearing a pale blinder. The card on the right is the Eight of Cups and shows a person dressed in many layers, carrying a large bundle, walking away from some papers on the ground. Above the person, a crescent moon shines.
Two of Swords and Eight of Cups. Well, ain’t that a kick in the pants.

This was a hell of an ouch. Two of Swords, representing stalemate, and Eight of Cups, representing disillusionment. This, for the moon of new beginnings. Oof.

I like that the Two of Swords is represented on the card as two crossed swords over a hawk wearing a pale blinder, vs a blindfolded woman. It implies hunting and seeking. I also like that the Eight of Cups doesn’t show any cups – instead, the person walking away is dropping papers from a book they’re carrying in their left hand, which to me implies there’s part of the story missing.

I’d be curious what other people think of this one.
