This month’s new moon is a nice bit of energy. I did strictly the Osho Zen this time, but I put together a little holly offering beforehand.

On the left, “Playfulness” is illustrated by a clown dressed in transparent red, orange and green overalls, scattering a million stars. While I’m not a fan of clowns, I like the implication that revealing oneself is an innocent part of play, and is part of the process. Now, I’m not gonna run around nude anywhere, but if I’m going to play, it’s best done with abandon.
On the right, “Healing” is illustrated by two transparent blue hands held over a hairless human body, overlaid with teal wavy lines and a lotus flower in white and yellow. Again, the idea of transparency and revelation as part of the process is something I like a lot.
I’ll be doing another pull this evening at moonset, which I’ll share in my newsletter next week if you’re interested.
Otherwise, here’s hoping for a better month ahead.
Curious: do you dislike clowns in general, or is it the specific presentation of clown with the painted face and red nose? Or something else?
I don’t like slapstick, and a lot of clowns I’ve seen trade in slapstick, particularly in fake hurting of one another. I don’t mind the painted face and red nose.
Ooooh yeah valid! The clowns I know don’t do that, but I (of course) know only clowns who are not typical mainstream clowns hahahaha <3
